Terms and Conditions

1. General Agreement

By engaging Oz Sign works for signage or vehicle wrap services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are in place to protect both parties and ensure a smooth and transparent working relationship.

2. Quotes & Pricing

All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
Quotes are subject to change if the scope of work, materials, or specifications are altered after acceptance.
All prices are exclusive of GST unless specifically noted.
Any variations, urgent requests, or out-of-scope works will incur additional charges.

3. Payments

A 50% deposit is required before production begins.
The remaining balance is due upon completion, before delivery or installation unless otherwise agreed.
Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer, EFTPOS, or cash.
Delayed payments may affect your project timeline and may attract a late payment fee.

4. Design & Proofing

Clients must approve all artwork and designs in writing before production.
Delays in approval may affect production timelines.
We are not responsible for errors (e.g. spelling or contact details) once the design has been approved.
Designs remain the intellectual property of Oz Sign works unless a release is agreed upon in writing.

5. Production & Installation

Estimated timeframes are provided as a guide and may be impacted by factors beyond our control (e.g. weather, supplier delays).
The client must ensure safe, unrestricted access to installation sites.
Any rescheduling due to site issues may result in additional call-out charges.
Permits (if required) are the responsibility of the client.

6. Materials & Durability

We use premium-grade materials from trusted suppliers such as 3M, Avery Dennison, and Oracal.
Material warranties range from 12 months to 5 years, depending on the product and conditions.
Wraps and signage must be properly maintained to ensure longevity.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or environmental exposure beyond normal conditions.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation must be submitted in writing.
Deposits may be forfeited if production has commenced.
Custom signage and wraps are non-refundable once printed or installed.
Oz Sign works reserves the right to retain payment for any work completed prior to cancellation.

8. Vehicle Wraps – Conditions & Care

Vehicles must be delivered clean and free of wax, polish, or surface contaminants.
Oz Sign works is not liable for pre-existing paint damage or imperfections.
Post-wrap care instructions will be provided and must be followed to maintain warranty coverage.
We recommend hand washing only for the first 7 days after installation.

9. Intellectual Property

All artwork, designs, and concepts produced by Oz Sign works remain our property unless otherwise stated.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that content provided (logos, images, slogans) is legally permitted for use.
We reserve the right to use completed work for marketing or portfolio purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.

10. Limitation of Liability

Oz Sign works shall not be held liable for indirect or consequential damages resulting from signage failure, delays, or vehicle downtime.
We take all reasonable care but are not responsible for third-party interference, including vandalism or poor maintenance.

11. Color Matching

While we aim to provide the closest match possible, slight color variation may occur due to substrate types, lighting, and printing technology.
Exact Pantone or CMYK color matching must be discussed in advance.

12. Photography & Promotion

Unless otherwise requested, we may photograph completed work and use it for promotional purposes, including social media and portfolio displays.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of WA.
